The Fond du Lac Blades program gives skaters of all ages and abilities the opportunity to explore the sport of synchronized skating. Our athletes have competed locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally, while learning key concepts of teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. Our coaches work day and night to support the athletes in their journey to not only to reach, but surpass their potential in all aspects of figure skating.
Individually, we're strong. But together, we can be unstoppable. 100-plus skaters. Six teams. One family.
Current Teams
Junior
This is the highest level team for the Blades. The 2023-24 Junior team was selected to represent the United States as part of TEAM USA.
- 12-16 skaters
- Ages 13-19
- Moves requirement: Junior
- Eligible for national and international competition
Novice
The goal of the Novice team is to refine performance and technical skills, and ready them for advancement to Junior.
- 12 - 20 skaters
- Must be younger than 18 years old
- Moves requirement: Novice
- Eligible for national competition
Intermediate
The Intermediate team is the most decorated Blades division in the club's history.
- 12-20 skaters
- Must be younger than 18 years old
- Moves requirement: Intermediate
- Eligible for national competition
Juvenile
The goal of the Juvenile team is to further develop performance and technical skills, and ready them for advancement to Intermediate and, eventually, Junior.
- 12-20 skaters
- All must be 13 years old and younger
- Moves requirement: Juvenile
- Eligible for national competition
Aspire 3
The Synchro Skills/Beginner level introduces skaters to the sport of synchronized skating. At this level our team competes at several local competitions and performs at local ice shows throughout the season.
- A team of 5-20 skaters.
- Skaters must be 17 years and younger
- No skaters may have passed higher than a preliminary test.
Aspire 1
